During Electronic Arts’ live series from Gamescom at Cologne, the publisher announced that its new indie darling by Zoink Games Fe will be publishing on Nintendo Switch on top of PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Recently, DualShockers sat down for a conversation with Creative Directors Klaus Lyngeled along with Andreas Beijer, also we had a chance to ask the reason behind the support of Nintendo’s brand new console.

Beijer said that Lyngeled “pushed very hard” for having the game on Switch, since he really likes the console.

Lyngeled explained that with the applications they’re utilizing it had been fairly simple, so that they thought “why not? ” He likes to have a game that one could play on the go, and he also likes to play on the sofa and on the mattress, so that looked a fantastic idea.

Lyngeled likes Nintendo’s fanbase a lot, as he feels that they open to innovative games, plus they’re positive.

We asked Lyngeled if he feels some pressure due to the simple fact that the performance of his game on Switch may influence Electronic Arts’ support of this console.

“I hadn’t wondered that. However, I guess that’s accurate! Oh my god! Permit’s not do it! (Laughs) But I understand it’s going to perform very well. ”

He then clarified that as a developer is simply completing the game and making sure it runs well, and that it is a game.

For the complete interview, which will come soon, you should stay tuned here on DualShockers of course.
