Nicalis announced they will soon be publishing the retro-inspired action-adventure game Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San at the west to Nintendo Switch and PC in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San is place in a universe where people and octopi are at war with one another. However, the game’s story focuses to a octopus, ” Mr Tako, that decides to rescue a girls. An “octopus fairy” notices Mr Tako’s good deed and also grants him the ability to reside above the water and learn about the ways of the people in an effort.

The game includes Game Boy style images that gamers who grew up in the 90’so will remember of. Players will browse Mr Tako via 2D surroundings and launching ink at opponents, which may turn them in to programs and also allow him to get access. He will get a total of 50 different hats throughout the game which will give him special abilities, fight 19 bosses, and research 16 dungeons.

Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San was designed by French indie developer Christophe Galati as a ode to Nintendo’s original Game Boy. The colour palette from the game are directly motivated by the handheld’s visual capacity.
