Today, writer and writer Team17 has announced that Worms W.M.D is going to be ported over to the Nintendo Switch after this year.

In accordance with Team17, the Switch interface will comprise all the updates that were published post-launch and will provide single Joy-Con play as well as multiplayer modes. Furthermore, the forthcoming interface will have tree forts, a space theme, mushroom , and the present Forts Mode. On top of that, there will be new personalization options ranging from gravestones and new outfits.

Often regarded as a spiritual successor to Worms Armageddon, W.M.D  provides similar gameplay and adds new features to the series, including interactive vehicles, and buildings that can be utilised as protection for the worms.

Speaking of the Switch, this past week, Nintendo announced an abundance of new indie games coming to their new console over the next several months following the “Nindies Summer Showcase.
