Nintendo has shown the best-selling Switch games around the North American Switch eShop for the month of September (2017).

On top of the record is that the machine’s large release in the month before: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, the launch title from Ubisoft Milan which seems to be selling quite nicely.

Not very quick enough to capture the Rabbids: Sonic raced his little heart to next for the month through  Sonic Mania, which also introduced the month ahead and also appears to be doing quite well on its own.

And directly behind the iconic Sonic and Mario is September’s indie darling: Golf Story.   Since you may know, the Earthbound-like RPG with golf introduced quite late in the month (September 28), which makes its own position so high-up about the graph even more remarkable, especially once you think about the game had about zero advertising and hardly any pre-launch buzz in general. It ends up: people enjoy buying good games.

Rounding out the top-five is additional noteworthy September Cartoon inclusion  SteamWorld Dig 2 at No.4, followed closely by  Overcooked: Special Edition in No.5. Especially, what was arguably the month’s largest launch, Pokkén Tournament DX (a Switch-remaster of the Wii U game Pokkén Tournament) only charted at No.7, also signaling perhaps not the best initial sales period for its Pokémon fighting game. That, or everybody bought it.
