Final Fantasy XIV is planning to celebrate this New Year with its conventional Heavensturn event, which can grant players together with the typical “Kabuto” samurai helmets that are given every year.

Those are a excellent way to show precisely how much of a veteran you’re, and if it is possible to sport one of the original bunny helmets out of 2011 you can be as badass as me.

As you might have imagined the helmets are following the year at the Greek calendar, which will cause some quite amusing design “injuries” like in 2015 if folks went about with a monkey’s bare butt onto their mind. No. I am not joking.

2018 is the year of your puppy, and Square Enix chose to go the super-cute manner, granting players black and white versions of the “Inu Kabuto” (Inu signifies “Dog” in Japanese), with some totally cute Shiba Inu on top. We also get a full size dog with traditional Japanese shrine decorations for our homes.

The event will start tomorrow, December 31st, at seven AM Pacific Time, and will end on January 15th, 2018.

Here   you can take a look at the celebratory art made for the occasion, and also the rewards. The questline will start in Limsa Lominsa, to the Upper Decks.
