Perhaps you have wondered what wild mushrooms taste like? Have you always wanted to try swarming, but are too scared you could eat the wrong one? Or maybe you like tromping across the woods with a goal but can never take the time to perform it. Mushrooms: Forest Walker,  that obtained a brand new trailer today, may just be the game for you.

Back in Mushrooms: Forest Walker, you really do just that… walk into the woods and scavenge for mushrooms. More especially, players can search in the woods for mushrooms using their in-game smartphone to browse, take pictures and establish every type they locate, and if they’re the one you’re searching for, then you are able to pick it.

It doesn’t end there however.   Mushrooms: Forest Walker is a game of survival. Camping, crafting cooking will get you through the night, leaving daylight for mulch foraging. Cooking will, of course, contain the edible mushrooms that you find out in the woods. The game also includes non-edible mushrooms, so you’ll need to ensure that you’re cooking the right ones. Elixers and unique combinations can be made as well for healing properties and exceptional quests for NPCs.

Earth really has quite a lot of flora. Especially, different mushrooms grow exclusively in different components of the worlds. The game offers co-op and specific challenges such as multiplayer.

To increase the character walk-about vibe, then  the programmers are even focusing on a VR version of the game.   Mushrooms: Forest Walker will be set to launch in 2018. You can discover more about the game on their Steam page.
