Now The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences reached out with a Media release to announce the nominees for Its 21st D.I.C.E. Awards.

The award ceremony will occur on February 22nd at Las Vegas since the climax of this 2018 D.I.C.E. Summit.

68 different games acquired a nomination, together with Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn  top the pack with ten nods.   The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild follows six nominations.   Hellblade: Senua’s SacrificeUncharted: The Lost Legacy, along with  Cuphead obtained five nods.    

Candidates for Game of the Year are Horizon Zero DawnCuphead, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, Super Mario Odyssey, and   The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Each of the nominees were selected by members of the Academy’s peer panels, together with a board for each award category. Each panel consists of “industry experts” (mostly game developers or agents of publishers), and the winners will be set using a  confidential voting process.
