Today, author Deep Silver, also referred to as Koch Media, announced that they’ve partnered with developer Bigmoon Entertainment to release and distribute Dakar 18 on PC, PS4, along with Xbox One. The title is going to soon be a open-world racing game based which will include a number of types of vehicles and is founded on the popular annual cross-country Dakar Rally.

As stated by the developers, the game will a “realistic simulation” of the event, and will have “one of the greatest open worlds ever produced in a racing game. ” Dakar 18 may also let players take charge of many different unique vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, carsand trucks, and SxS. There’ll be five different racing classes dependent on the vehicles listed above.

It was also affirmed  that all major teams, automobiles, along with pilots in the Dakar Rally will be included in the game, with consent by your Amaury Sport Organisation who organizes the case. When it comes to content, the game will feature a single-player style and both online and offline multiplayer.  

Since the official developer of this project, we are confident that Dakar 18 is going to be the finest representation of real life Dakar at a video game. ”

Meanwhile, CEO of Koch Media Klemens Kundratitz additionally commented about helping Bigmoon Entertainment together with the Evolution of the game:

“We’re delighted to work with Bigmoon Entertainment’ with this promising name and anticipate bringing all our experience to the project. Beyond this, we anticipate jointly to launching that the Dakar franchise in the racing area. ”
