Recently, NIS America Declared that the Falcom developed Activity RPG Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will make its way onto Nintendo Switch in an Abysmal date.

During a unique Livestream hosted with the writer, the  group addressed questions regarding the Switch variant of this game by saying that they aren’t ready to disclose any information about the Switch interface at the moment. They did allow fans are aware that the of the game will be contained on the Switch capsule.

This won’t be true for physical duplicates of the PlayStation 4 along with PlayStation Vita variations of this game. Rather, owners must obtain an update patch to acquire the re-localization that will require 279 MB to your Vita version and 1.16 GB for the PS4 variant.

Possessing the re-localization on cartridge or disc is beneficial to owners because owners will still have access even if the store gets shut down or NISA eliminates the update later on.

The re-localization project started when pointed out errors which NISA had made in   Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana’s Language localization.
