Switch

In case you’ve been expecting to get back to  Worms W.M.D. on the Nintendo Switch then today might be the ideal time to do such a thing, as developer Team17 has formally released a new update to the game, and also adds a ton of fresh content.

The update, which currently doesn’t have a name, comprises a new invite system, the capability to capture the previous thirty seconds of gameplay, and on top of that, it also raises the whole amount of worms per map in 32 to 48.

Besides the content, a number of performance issues and bugs were dealt with.

To celebrate the launch of the update, a brand-new trailer was shown, which displays off nearly a full minute of the game’s new features in action. You can, as always, check it out at the conclusion of the report. Along with that, the game is now on sale in Europe, bringing the price down from   #19.99 to  15.99, which equates to a 20% reduction.

Players should be able to obtain the upgrade the next time they boot up the game.

Worms W.M.D. was originally published on Nintendo Switch on November 23, 2017.
