PS4, Switch

Lately SNK revealed their upcoming 2.5D fighting game SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will feature noteworthy characters in the SNK library of feminine characters at a 2 vs 2 tournament-style fighting game.

With the game was announced only little is known. DualShockers had the chance to sit down with  producer  Yasuyuki Oda and designer  Kaito Soranaka to learn about the game’s Story Mode. Oda-san verified a narrative mode will be included also that it’ll offer dialog based on the set of heroines you select.

“there’ll be a Story Mode provided in the game, but based on the conversations will vary. ”

For example, the Story between Nakoruru and Mai will likely be different compared to the narrative between Mai and Yuri.

At the moment of this writing, just six figures are declared but only with these, the feasible story outcomes are already quite large. However, it must be seen if such stories will carry any weight behind them or if they are going to follow the lighthearted tone shared with the game’s theme.

SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy has players select two characters to take with them to a fight. During gameplay, they’ll be in a position to switch off the heroines together with the press of a button to extend combos or unleash strong finishing moves. Connecting a finishing movement is the only method to finish the battle.

In case you missed this, from precisely the identical interview, we discovered that the team plans to release a full game at launch without a current DLC character statements.

Our meeting with Soranaka-san and Oda-san will be published shortly. Today we also got a different trailer revealing the inescapable costumes.
