PS4

Last month Bluepoint Games launched   the PS4 movie of Shadow of the Colossus to compliments from both critics and fans alike. In fact, it had been such a fantastic remake I predicted it one of the best ever made.

Together with  Shadow of the Colossus shipped and finished, it became the time for Bluepoint to flip the page and start focusing on their second project. While the programmer may be synonymous with remakes and remasters, there’s no doubt there’s enough  capacity on the team which they may create their own original game should they so wanted. However, it doesn’t seem that they’ll be going in this direction.

In a conversation using Digital Foundry, Bluepoint’therefore president Marco Thrush was requested when the new art team members that the studio had hired  Shadow of the Colossus would be utilized to help make a first game next. Thrush responded using the statement:

We  could  nevertheless we’re doing another remake. This project served us as a excellent point of developing the art team to the point where we could shoot on a full triple-A game important reach of content. So now our next thing is, allow’s improve the artwork pipeline, let’s improve the motor, let’s enhance workflow for artists, so allow’s increase about the art side more to handle our next project because it’s a bit larger. And our second focus is always right, let’s’s work on design and put in new stuff to reach another movie, because today that can be our sole focus of creating certain the’s where we all put the time and everybody else, they’re already at a level where we can perform. ”

Finding out that Bluepoint is again working on another remake of a past project isn’t all that shocking but it’s certainly intriguing. It’s especially   intriguing to hear that the project will be larger than Shadow of the Colossus.   As Bluepoint has shown time and time again though, in case you desire any studio to picture a previous name, then they’re arrange the go-to team to perform it.

What do you believe this next remake from Bluepoint may be? Give us your greatest guesses down in the comments and hopes.
