PC, PS4, Xbox One

Developer Fatshark eventually released its co-op action game Warhammer: Vermintide 2 on March 8 after a few pre-release betas. According to the programmers, this title was a runaway success as it launched, together with them revealing Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has already sold 500K copies in just the four times since its launch on PC.

500,000 units offered in such a brief time period is a remarkable feat for any game, let alone a PC distinctive out of a programmer. That said, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was a sequel and a co-op centered game, therefore there were definitely many players interested in it. In addition to those sales amounts, Fatshark also published some additional stats such as Warhammer: Vermintide 2.

Since launching, players have apparently killed over 50 billion opponents and spent a total of 204 million minutes watching people flow the game on Twitch.

“We’re happy and proud that gamers worldwide have obtained Warhammer: Vermintide 2 to their hearts.   500,000 games sold was a milestone that we had, however, not under a week after launch. ”

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently available on PC and will release on PS4 and Xbox One later this year, with console betas happening later this Spring.
