2017 was a very great year for Sonic the Hedgehog lovers. While Sonic Forces was a bit unsatisfactory, Sonic Mania was amazing and reinvigorated the long-running series in its 2D roots.   As usual, the blue hedgehog doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon, as SEGA announced today that is going to be showing new job pertaining to Sonic the Hedgehog later now with an SXSW panel.

This panel is formally  titled Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel, and will happen at 4:30pm ET. This panel may have several notable guests, including   Takashi Iizuka, Head of Sonic Team, Aaron Webber, Social Media Manager for its Sonic the Hedgehog series, Tyson Hesse, Animation Director for both Sonic Mania, along with  Jasmin Hernandez, SEGA’s TV Animation Production Coordinator.

In accordance with SEGA “the future of this franchise and a few fascinating new projects and collaborations” will be discussed through the panel. Even though the event might not be completely game-focused, Sonic the Hedgehog fans will still probably get some sweet news out of it.
