The ranking is almost completely dominated by PS4, which makes sense since games on Sony’s console tend to get a far greater online penetration than the rest of the platforms on the local sector.
With these statistics, Monster Hunter World marketed 638,881 copies in Japan February independently, highlighting both digital and retail markets, whilst Dynasty Warriors 9 marketed 188,237 copies.
Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet was 126,218, Whilst Dragon Ball FighterZ was 102,619. These were the four game of the month, all for PS4. Splatoon 2 finishes the top-5 aggregating retail and electronic earnings, with 86,482 copies in February.
