PC, PS4, Switch

Now Koei Tecmo announced in a press release the Nobunaga’s Ambition series of grand strategy games has handed ten million units shipped.

The series began at March 30th, 1983 with the launch of the original Nobunaga’so called Ambition, although the latest game released is Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi for PS4, Nintendo Switch, along with PC, launched at 2017. Obviously, this usually means that making the statement now is not random, as the series is now celebrating its 35th anniversary.

General Producer Kou Shibusawa also commented, mentioning that the trigger of the birth of the   Nobunaga’s Ambition series has been the “what should? ” ideas that background fans have.

After finishing the initial game, Shibusawa-san himself analyzed it, and he remembers stating “we did this! ” when he believed that it had been even more enjoyable than anticipated. We also receive a personal promise from him to keep to make games with exciting and new features, so fans should look ahead.

Should you’re interested in Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi, you can have a look at a semi-recent trailer. Unfortunately the game hasn’t been localized in English yet, and we all don’t have any information on if it will.
