In case you’ve been a fan of the PC indie game The First Tree and also you’ve been wondering why if you ever’d ever be able to play it on additional consoles then wonder no longer. Now, programmer David Wehle announced that he has partnered with DO Games to produce vents of their titles on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
For the ones that don’t know, The First Tree tells two distinct stories of a fox searching for his family and a boy searching for his dad. Even though the game is brief, as it evolves, the fox finds clues, artifacts, and more about the boy’s existence.
As of this time of the writing, a launch date to the console versions of this game still haven’t been shown, but both David Wehle and DO Games expect to take it out sometime in late 2018. A cost for the console version also hasn’t yet been settled, but the PC edition currently prices $7.99, so anticipate a comparable cost once it launches.
The First Tree was initially published on September 14, 2017, and is currently available on PC and Mac.
