Developer CD Projekt Red revealed last year which The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be eventually receive HDR service on PS4 Pro. Following a couple of months, fans were wondering when this patch could arrive, therefore Community Lead Marcin Momot chose to Twitter and confirmed the patch was still in evolution. Now, this upgrade finally came.
The release of this upgrade was confirmed through the game’s official website, that also lists the short patch notes. Besides the promised HDR support, this new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also brings stability and optimization improvements, fixes some bugs within the game’s localization and even improves the visuals somewhat. Based on CD Projekt Red, these performance repairs were based on comments received from players since the game’s launching.
While these improvements aren’t as great as to what the Xbox One X got, it’s still great to know that people who picked a PS4 Guru will finally be able to find some visible developments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
