PC, PS4, Xbox One

As eSports are becoming more and more mainstream, we now see schools starting to provide scholarships based on gaming ability in much the identical way one might observe conventional sports scholarships. My college has an eSports group, and competitions that are eSports are now featured by EPSN. It’s’s no surprise that many schools are now starting to supply Fortnite scholarships as the battle royale game continues to dominate the industry.

This’s right: you can find a scholarship for your ability at Fortnite. Ashland University in Ohio has become the first school in the US to offer a scholarship to students for this particular game. They intend to adapt a four-player team together with coaching and squads for Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Overwatch, and Rocket League when the program debuts in the competitive collegiate eSports scene next fall.

Starting with the fall 2018 semester, the Ashland Eagles team will be holding tryouts for current and potential students. Scholarships of up to $4,000 will be offered based on the two player skill and history.

Even though Fortnite isn’t exactly a highly effective force at the eSports world in comparison to more mainstream eSports games like   Overwatch,  League of Legends, CSGO or any assortment of fighting games, if it means pupils can go to college and enjoy their favourite games, ”’damn pleased to find scholarships like this continue. There’s also no doubt that   Fortnite draws a viewership audience, so who could say what sort of future is in store for your powerhouse title?

It has recently had a v3.5 content update and continues to control sales in the business.
