The quadrennial FIFA World Cup begins this June in Russia, making 2018 an exciting year. To observe, EA will be publishing a free upgrade for FIFA 18 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and also Nintendo Switch that adds content related to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

This update will allow players struggle to win the World Cup at Online Tournaments and Online Friendlies and to choose one the 32 teams. There’ll also be a Custom Tournament style, so players can create their own World Cup tournaments using countries like the USA and Italy. A World Cup Kick-Off mode will also be playable online and offline.

In addition, twelve new Russian stadiums are added to the game these games can take place at the venues. Even Ultimate Team is visiting some upgrades, with new player things linked to the event and a new Icons based on legendary World Cup players.
