The epic strategy series The Banner Saga is coming to a close with all the game’s third and last chapter that this summer, but for the ones that have yet to jump into the series the franchise’s very first chapter is coming to the Nintendo Switch just about the horizon.

Over on the game’s Twitter webpage, publisher Versus Evil and programmer Stoic Games have announced that The Banner Saga — the first in the strategy RPG trilogy — will likely be available for Nintendo Switch owners May 17th, 2018. The game will save on Switch for $19.99, and pre-orders for it are now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The game’s Switch launch was formerly announced during one of Nintendo’s indie concentrated demonstrations, along with the information which the series’ second and third chapters will also be coming to the stage this year. Given that the series concentrates on player decisions and choices, obtaining all 3 available on one platform will surely be a bonus for players to catch up over the past two games prior to the last installment, The Banner Saga 3, debuts in July.
