Earlier this Afternoon, Inti Creates and Artplay Declared Castleva… ahem… Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, an 8-bit spin-off game Created from Koji Igarashi’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Following the announcement, the publisher released a huge batch of screenshots offering another look in the nostalgic game.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night‘s Kickstarter campaign guaranteed that a retro-style 8-bit game for a stretch goal, and this is that game.

We get to observe the four main characters in action, Miriam, Zangetsu, Alfred, and Gebel, in environments that certainly feel familiar.

The game will be released on May 24th 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, also PC through Steam, but those who backed   Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night at the $28 tier or greater may get it at no cost.
