Developer Eidos Montréal has been active to say the very least. Together with Shadow of the Tomb Raider set to be released later this season on September 14th and co-developing that an Avengers project with Crystal Dynamics, many lovers of the Deus Ex series are questioning whether or not there will be another improvement to this cyberpunk series. Luckily, Eidos Montréal’s Head of Studio David Anfossi has put those fears to rest and said, “Deus Ex isn’t dead, I affirm that. ”
Lots of you have been wondering about the near future of Deus Ex: here’therefore the term out of our Head of Studio @DavidAnfossi. We all’re grateful for your continued support – most people here in @EidosMontreal adore the Deus Ex franchise just as far as you possibly can! 💛 https://t.co/vJEm6ssLtb

In terms of the third game Eidos Montréal continues in development, several fans have speculated that it’s just another game set in the Marvel Universe, maybe according to Guardians of the Galaxy. One thing it won’t be, however, is another Thief game. Anfossi was apparent in denying some rumors surrounding the development of a fifth Thief game. He added that while they’re a significant studio, they need “to focus on items we do and get it done properly. ” Anfossi refused a fifth Thief game last year also.
