PC, Switch

Publisher Devolver Digital got its conference going at this years E3 and gave us an volatile, heavy-on-action gameplay preview for My Friend Pedro. It’s ’s a side-scrolling platformer out of DeadToast Entertainment that uses aerobic and violent tactics to prevent being taken and make it through the level.

The scenario for My Friend Pedro is quite surreal. The player battles against enemies at the control of a sentient banana. On the way players both weapons may use dual planning to carry out many enemies at the same time. Slow movement is integrated which makes it more striking but also simpler to plan ahead while among the action.

My Friend Pedro is based on the original 2014 browser-based flash title, My Friend Pedro: Arena.

We saw a tease of this name back in 2017 through our Screenshot Saturday Round-Up that featured a GIF of this protagonist riding a skateboard and launching in the enemy. Devolver Digital announced back in May that they’Id be holding yet a second press conference with this season E3. Before E3 the publisher teased Metal Wolf Chaos XD after which last night announced that very name through a teaser trailer.
