Sekai Project has recently released a new trailer for approaching visual book Last Stanza, also you can take a look below. Though we don’t have to see much aside from cuts into the different personalities, the game claims to become a poignant narrative of loss and tragedy set to the backdrop of a looming wintery apocalypse.

Along with those four, there’ll be a total of twelve unique personalities and will comprise 70,000 words. The game will be a kinetic visual book, meaning that there will be no options or alternative avenues, but also the Steam description will promise to let players to “revisit past events with a fresh outlook ”.

It was a day in the past week of December 2009, once I discovered that gradually leaking strikes had a shivering yet uncomfortable feeling. The winter turned the air cold and thin, the clouds blocked the sunlight that normally reaches the earth which makes it feel as though the sunshine was absent.

Days later I was back on my everyday routine, like nothing had happened, trying to hide my anger and confusion, slowly regaining control of my thoughts, opening my heart to friends old and new, trying at any cost locate a new location for myself.

Nevertheless, it’s at the calm moments when the storms settle and the turbulent waters lose their motions, that some stone can decide on a chain reaction creating an infinitude of waves, so bringing back to the beaches of my ideas the emotions that I had kept away for such a long time.

The brief little description above offers a taste of the game’s setting and possibly its writing style. Players will find the chance to research this poignant story in a wintery apocalypse around PC sometime in 2018.  Last Stanza is presently in development using a demo available on Steam at this time.
