Twin-stick shot Solstice Chronicles: MIA published on PC last July after programmer Ironward successfully crowdfunded the game on Fig. Now, Japanese writer Circle Entertainment revealed they are bringing Solstice Chronicles: MIA into Nintendo Switch, also that it will release later this season.

For those who don’t understand, Solstice Chronicles: MIA is a spiritual successor to Ironward’s final title, ” The Red Solstice. The game follows a marine who is stranded on a Mars colony infected with all the dreadful STROL virus, and this has left its way over from Earth. So as to escape, players might have to fight through hordes of enemies, even with weapons and their drone to their benefit.

The game rewards tactical conclusions, giving the drone a number of different skills so players may funnel or stun enemies right where they need to. The Nintendo Switch variant of the game also features local co-op because of this machine ’s multiplayer-friendly nature, and will be, of course, mobile, giving it an edge against the PC model.
