In the present age of the conflict royale happening and moving against significant strikes like Fortnite along with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Xaviant’s enemy hit The Culling is taking yet a second stab at letting players unleash their bloodlust against another together using the surprise announcement and release of its own sequel, The Culling II, coming over the following 24 hours.
Developer Xaviant has officially declared The Culling II, a sequel to its 2016 conflict royale title that pitted quite a few players against each other in a tropical island while still having to scavenge supplies and craft weaponry to endure.
What’s more surprising, however, is the simple fact that the game is obtaining a surprise launch this week, using the title to officially launch on consoles and PC on July 10th, 2018. The game will retail for $19.99 on all platforms, according to the programmer.
Besides the announcement and release date, the developer also shared the game’s first trailer, which looks to be raising the ante as far as wackiness and insanity, while also doubling back on its own “game show” aesthetic which would set it apart from your very aggressive battle royale genre at the moment.
The Culling II will launch on July 10th, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For a closer look at the game, you can check out the statement trailer below and its first screenshots and artwork:
