As two of those titles that helped steer a successful year for the Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe along with Splatoon 2 have still been getting regular installments of new content, and based on Nintendo, it seems that won’t be letting up any time soon for title.

In a video published by Nintendo of America’s Twitter accounts, Nintendo’s thoughts of applications creation Shinya Takahashi took to answering a few questions on a few of those Nintendo Switch’s most popular names, and gave a few more insights on two names specifically: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2.

Takahashi stated that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would be receiving “further upgrades ” following the latest upgrade that attracted support for Nintendo Labo to the racing game. Together with Mario Kart, Takahashi additionally verified that Splatoon 2 would be getting “more free updates all the way until December. ”

For Splatoon 2, it’s not very clear whether Takahashi implies that the game will finish all upgrades after later this calendar year, or if there’ll be paid expansions or DLC coming after this year like the recently-released “Octo Expansion” last month. Either way, at least players of the two games can look forward to the fact that more articles is going to be on the horizon.
