We’ve Understood about That the remaster of The World Ends With You coming to the Nintendo Switch since January, but now There’s finally Information about a Western release date.

The vibrant Japanese RPG from Square Enix made a name for itself when it was initially published on the Nintendo DS in 2007. The innovative dual-screen battle systemthat the game’s depiction of childhood culture and style, along with a totally rocking soundtrack enabled The World Ends With You to stick out in the crowded DS library. The game was brought over to cellular as The World Ends With You: Solo Remix.

While the Switch lacks the DS’s dual screens, the Final Remix of the game will have its own distinct features, using different control approaches for the Joy-Con controllers and touch display, along with a two-player co-op mode. The remaster also adds a new narrative scenario with a mysterious new character, making this exactly what Square Enix and Nintendo tout to function as “definitive version” of The World Ends With You.

To mark the announcement of the launch , Nintendo also released a brand new teaser trailer for Final Remix, which you can watch below. Over in Japan, the remaster will soon launch on September 27. Check out some recently released screenshots here.
