Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi premiered from the west June, however Koei Tecmo is thinking about the future, also announced the inevitable stand-alone expansion Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi with Power-Up Kit.

At the moment no western release has been announced.

While the original game used a conflict system based on stages, the new iteration changes to “real time” to permit a commander to more directly influence the results of an engagement. Strategy and tactics decision can be used at any time.

Traps have also been included and combined using strategy and tactics they may have a sizable effect in conflict.

Castle sieges are another new component, and unique tactics can be employed to overcome them. On the flip side, they can be defended with specific facilities and upgraded. New skills and new diplomatic features are also included.
