The footage, including the harmful Rotterdam Blitz and moving all of the way to the regions of North Africa, also included a look at what appears like the game’so called battle royale style .

You can expect the typical run-and-gun and volatile gameplay at the two-minute video, which includes a good deal of tank and air action. This entry in the Battlefield series, in particular, seems to revel in stunning locales amongst each the bloody chaos. And judging by the end of the preview, the battle royale style will comprise all of that bloody chaos with a literal wall of fire.

A shrinking circle is just one of the hallmarks of this conflict royale genre–PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds represented it using a vague, electric field of some kind, while Fortnite has a storm. But Battlefield V has what has to be the most terrifying iteration of this–a wall of fire which will sure to bring a feeling of urgency because it closes in on players.

Battlefield V will roll up its way into PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on October 19–watch the Gamescom trailer below.
