Early this morning, patch v5.21 for Fortnite was officially released to the Earth, and it contained some pretty awesome things, to say the least. What’s not surprising though, is that Epic Games, the developer behind the popular shooter, is reporting an increase in crashes following the upgrade ’s launch, so be wary.
Luckily, the programmer has identified the problem, so it shouldn’t be too much more until they put out a hotfix or a different patch, however, at the time of the writing, we’ve got no idea if this will happen. It’s also unknown how many individuals this is impacting, as I was able to play for a few hours after the patch has been published without coming across any issues, but naturally, don’t accept that as a definitive evaluation.
For those that don’t know, v5.21 provides a brand new sniper rifle capable of destroying materials with a single bullet, along with two new modes: Sniper Shootout and Soaring 50’s.
Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch, in Addition to iOS and Android apparatus.
We are conscious of an increase in crashes in Battle Royale since the launch of v5.21. We have identified the issue and are working to get a cure. We’ll update you after we’ve got more information. https://t.co/3y0X6buriO
