Today Square Enix released a batch of screenshots of its coming JRPG code-named Project Octopath Traveler. Even the screenshots emphasize the visual style of the game, which the team called “HD-2D” blending traditional pixel artwork along with also a 3D effect. Nintendo has released a short new Bayonetta 2 trailer on their official YouTube channel. The trailer features some minor plot points in the second name as well as gameplay revealing Bayonetta herself in action against several large enemies in 60 frames per second (using cutscenes seemingly operating at 30).
